Jammu boy creates social networking site

JAMMU, May 27: A young boy of Jammu has created a social networking site ‘Jakpinch.com’, which was launched recently.
Sidhant Sharma, a matriculate from DPS Jammu, dropped his studies soon after completion of his matriculation despite that it was his passionate interest in computers which motivated him to innovate something new in the IT field and he created social networking site ‘Jakpinch.com’.
Talking about the purpose of creating this site, Sidhant said he wanted the people of all the three regions of the State to come close and share their thoughts so that they can understand each other.
“The main motive of the site is to interconnect people of the State though it is open to worldwide registration”, he said.
About its features, he said that users can interact with each other easily, create blogs on specific topics and share them with their friends, ask questions based on any topic and get their answers.
Besides, some other features will be added in the site in the coming days, which may include ‘Education Centre’, where users can easily get updates, lectures and study material on specific topics, and ‘Blood Donation Centre’, where people can register themselves for donating blood and also getting donated blood.
