Jagti inmates’ concern over water scarcity

JAMMU, Aug 11: The relief holders of Jagti township have expressed grave concern over the water scarcity being faced by the inmates of the township.
In a meeting of relief holders in the township today chaired by Sunil Pandita grave concern was expressed over the failure of authorities in restoring water supply to the township which has been disrupted over five days back.
The meeting made an appeal to Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner to look into the matter and issue instructions to engineering staff to restore the water supply to the camp immediately.
The meeting also demanded opening of Aadhar Card Centre at Jagti so that the camp inmates do not face any problem in getting the Aadhar cards in time as the Government has kept the last date of furnishing Aadhar cards under DBT up to August 31 only.
Others present in the meeting included Sunil Riana, Sanjay Raina, Sanjay Dhar and Rajinder.
