J S Raina takes over as Director in Brampton City of Canada

Jammu, Jan 19: Bringing laurels to the State as well as the country, son of the soil, S Jasbir Singh Raina has become the first Indian to take over as Director (Capital Planning and Asset Management) in Brampton  City of Canada.
S Jasbir Singh Raina, son of  S Harbans Singh Raina (Retd Chief Agriculture Officer),  had completed his engineering from REC Srinagar and joined Indian Navy under direct recruitment scheme. He rose to the rank of Commander and was mentioned in the dispatches. He resigned as Commander and migrated to Canada in 2002. There he joined as Patrol Officer in the city of Mississauga. He did his MBA in Canada under a sponsorship programme and PMP from America and by dint of his hard work and dedicated, was promoted as Manager in Mississauga.
Now after going through a stiff selection process, he has been selected as Director in Brampton Municipal Corporation. He took over his new assignment on January 3, 2017.
