J&K outplays Uttarakhand; faces Punjab in crucial match tomorrow

JAMMU, Dec 30: Jammu and Kashmir registered a solitary goal win over Uttarakhand in the ongoing National Football Championship in Santosh Trophy 2016-17 (North Zone).
Jammu and Kashmir players displayed superb soccer skills and showed anticipation and sharp reflexes and dominated the game from the word go and succeeded in scoring a goal early in the 10th minute of the match. Hanan was the goal scorer through penalty shoot.
After the first half ended (1-0) in favour of J&K, the players charged towards the opponent goal many a time in the second half also, but could not convert the chances into the goals. Finally, J&K won by one goal to nil (1-0).
Jammu and Kashmir Football team will be looking forward for its crucial match against Punjab on January 1, 2017, as both the teams need this win to qualify for the next round of the Championship.
