ITBP conducts tour for Indo-China border students

LEH, July 10: ITBP 24th BN organized Bharat Darshan Tour for the students from Indo-China border areas of Chushul under its Civic Action Programme-Civil Society and Welfare.
The tour was formally flag off by the Battalion Commanding Officer (CO) Anwar Ilahi from Kumba Hall Choglamsar today.

Advising the student to take maximum benefit from this tour, CO said that this would help them to know more about our Nation in detail besides their own personality development. He also advised the student to present some Ladakhi culture programme while on tour to showcase the Ladakhi unique culture and tradition to let them know more about Ladakh.
As many as 22 students along with two teachers, selected from Government High School Chushul, will visit Odisha on 10 days trip. The tour is an initiative of ITBP to provide social security and welfare for border area citizens with an objective to create healthy bond between the forces and the people sharing a common geographical expanse.
The tour also aimed to strengthening of feeling of oneness and linking of cultures and people with distance background. The students will also get chance to interact with Government dignitaries such as Union Home Secretary Vivek Gauba and ITBP DIG R K Pachnanda.
During the ten days tour,  children will also get chance to enhance their knowledge about rich cultural heritage, different languages, customs and various ongoing development schemes of Government of India. The Bharat Darshan trip will also help them to personality development of participating children and they will try to intermingle with other people of India with different background.
