Kathua, Jan 21: The people of Kathua throng to Aadhar card preparation centre to get registered themselves and to get Aadhar cards as the prepartion of Aadhar cards has been again restored after gap of a month .
The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Dr Bharat Bhushan said that the Govt. opened the registration of Aadhar cards again and people are reaching here to get registered themselves. He said more than five Lakh of Aadhar cards have been already prepared as per the number of 2010 against the target of 5,40000 .
He said the Aadhar card is now very important document and linked with various Govt. organization and in banks and becomes very important after the note demonetization . As the Govt. is promoting the digital currency.
He said during a video conference with Niti Ayog Delhi , the Govt has stressed upon digital transction and it will cover rest of country with-in coming four to five months and all transactions would be linked with Aadhar number. He added that to complete the target in Kathua district single window system is adopted and issuing Aadhar has been again started at DC Office complex. He has appealed the people to get enrolled themselves and get thier Aadhar number to ease thier basic requirements.
