SAMBA, Mar 13: IRP 17th Battalion, Samba, under the command of Roop Raj, Commandant of the Battalion, organized Volleyball Tournament, under Civic Action Programme at Gho Brahamana, Vijaypur, here today.
A good number of teams participated in the Inter-School Tournament and the participating teams were from Govt HSS Gho Brahamna, Govt HSS Anandpur, Govt HSS Samba and Govt High School Swankha.
The team of Govt High School Swankha emerged winner, while Govt HSS Gho Brahamna claimed the runners-up trophy.
The winners and the runners-up teams were provided with track suits, shoes, socks, besides trophies and other prizes.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Principals namely Harbans Lal of Ajanta HSS Gho Brahmna, Raj Kumar of Shiv Shiksha Kendra Gho Brahmna and Zahara Singh of Govt HSS Gho Brahmna.
