IRCS organizes training prog for drivers, youth

JAMMU, June 22: A 4-day First-aid training programme, organized by Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Jammu Region, concluded here today.
The training was started on June 19, 2018 in which a large number of commercial vehicle drivers/students from different Institutions took part, at Red Cross Bhawan, Jammu. The objective was to train the common masses especially the drivers/ conductors of vehicles to save the precious lives during road traffic accidents. The participants were also made aware about prevention of road traffic accidents, motivation for blood donation and also awareness about drug de-addiction.
The training was imparted by Dr Ranbushan Singh and Dr Rajinder Thappa. Dinesh Gupta, Secretary ( Hony), IRCS, Jammu briefed the participants about the functioning of Red Cross Society and how they can also be of big help to the passengers during any Medical emergencies.
