JAMMU, Sept 1: Investiture Ceremony was held in KV Sunjuwan to elect the new Students Council, here today.
Col Gaurav Chaturvedi, Deputy Commander36 Inf. Bde. Sunjuwan was the chief guest on the occasion., who was formally welcomed by the Principal of the School, Manish Tuli.
In a total of 64 members of the Students Council, 62 represented the Secondary Section and 2 Primary Section.
Badges were awarded to all the members of Council. Ananya Rosotra and Kartik Pratap Singh were appointed as Girls’ and Boys’ Captains of the School respectively.
The oath was administered by the Principal of the School which laid down that students should honour and respect the School and everything that goes with it. Later, Yog Mudras were demonstrated by the students under the guidance of Meenakshi, Yoga Teacher.
Uzma Choudhary and Suryadev Singh of 5thA were appointed as the captains (Girls and Boys) for Primary Section.
The ceremony ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr V P Sharma, TGT (Sanskrit).
