JAMMU, June 21: Internet services were restored in Jammu region at 7 pm today after remaining shut for about 15 hours as precautionary measure.
The administration had asked mobile operators to stop internet services in entire Jammu region from 4 am today in anticipation of trouble during ‘dangal’ at disputed land. However, the situation remained completely peaceful and no untoward incident was reported during the ‘dangal’.
Few years back, trouble had erupted at the site of the ‘dangal’ but since then annual ‘dangal’ was being held peacefully.
