RAJOURI, Mar 15: The Photographer’s Club of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University organized an Inter-University Photo Exhibition & Mobile Photography Competition, in which participants from various institutes from within and outside the State took part.
Students from institutes, such as Chandigarh University, NIT Srinagar, Delhi University, GCET, PTU, IUST, CU-Jammu along with students of BGSBU participated
Prof Javed Musarrat, Vice Chancellor of BGSBU, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Sajad Rafeeq and Pushpinder Singh Jamwal were the judges for the exhibition, Photo Exhibition and Mobile Photography competition. Prof Mohammed Asger, Dean Students, said that such an event was first of its kind in Pir Panjal region.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Javed Musarrat assured all his support to the Club. Aadil Hayat Bhat, Dr Majid Bashir Malik and Basar Zaheer Mir were declared as 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners, respectively in photo exhibition.
Basar Zaheer Mir, Muzafar Ahmad Mir and Junaid Allaqband were declared 1st, 2nd and 3rd winner respectively in mobile photography competition. The winners were awarded trophy, certificate and cash prizes.
All the Deans, HoD’s and officers of the University were present in the award ceremony.
