Inter School Drawing & Slogan Writing Competition held

JAMMU, Nov 24: Mount Litera Zee School, Tarore today organized an Inter School Drawing-cum-Slogan Writing Competition in the school premises as part of Anti Child Abuse week.
Students from CBSE schools including Jammu Sanskriti School, Heritage School, Carmel Convent, ASN Resham Ghar, International Delhi Public, Shemford Futurisitc School, ASN Channi and the host school used their pencils to create awareness about the affects of child abuse.
Ranjt Kalra, Advisor for Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Lakshadweep and Teaching Faculty HRDC Jammu University was the chief guest, while JS Dhami, President Sahodya and Principal of Heritage School was the presiding guest.
The program was started by lightening the lamp followed by a dance performance and Nukkad Natak on the theme ‘Child Abuse. Students used the stage to create awareness about the various abuses that the children can experience from people around them.
The students’ posters were judged by Jyoti Nirmal Pachnanda, and Shailender Slathia, Assistant Registrar, Central University of Jammu.
Sehar Gupta of Carmel Convent School was the third runner up and Priyanka of Jammu Sanskriti School won the second prize. The first position was bagged by Stanzin Angmo of Heritage School. Participation certificates were also distributed to all the participants.
