JAMMU, Oct 16: Inter-District Divisional Level competitions of District Jammu in the sports discipline of Roll Ball under all age group boys and girls got underway at MA Stadium, here today.
The competitions are being organised by Department of Youth Services & Sports under the patronage of Dr Saleem-Ur-Rehman, Director General Youth Services & Sports and under the overall supervision of Madan Lal, Joint Director.
Chanchal Kour, District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jammu is the Organising Secretary.
The main objective of the competitions is to select the teams/players for the next level of competitions.
Meanwhile, in Under-14 boys final, District Jammu beat District Samba by 6-0, while in Under-17 boys summit clash, District Jammu drubbed District Kathua by 20-0 and in Under-19 boys title clash, District Jammu thrashed District Kathua by 10-0.
In Under-14 girls title clash, District Jammu defeated District Samba by 9-0, while in Under-17 girls summit clash, District Kathua drubbed District Samba by 20-0.
The matches were officiated by a panel of experts of department of Youth Services & Sports.
