JAMMU, Oct 19: Inter-Collegiate tournaments of Cluster University of Jammu (CUJ) got underway here today.
The opening ceremony began with a Football (Men) tournament held at GGM Science College ground, here.
The first match was played between GGM Science College Jammu and Govt MAM College Jammu.
Dr Satinder Singh, Nodal Principal GGM Science College was the chief guest on the occasion. Prof ZA Hashmi, Controller of Examination Cluster University of Jammu was the guest of honour.
Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator Cluster University of Jammu welcomed the dignitaries with the presentation of bouquets.
Dr Satinder motivated the students to play with the spirit of sportsmanship and be productive for the society.
The match was won by Govt. MAM College by four goals to nil (4-0).
Stanzin of MAM College was declared as the man of the match.
The goals were scored by Pardeep Singh, Faizan Malik, Imran Rubani and Aksheen.
Dr Bakshi presented vote of thanks.
The match was officiated by Gagan (Chief Refree), Dheeraj, Amit, Dileshwar & Rahul Kumar.
Sumnesh Sharma, Physical Director MAM College Jammu, Mahesh Sharma Physical Director GGM Science College Jammu and Malik Aijaz, Physical Director SPMR College of Commerce Jammu were present on the occasion.
