JAMMU, Nov 17: Inter-Collegiate Kho-Kho Tournament in men and women categories, organized under the aegis of Sports Coordinator Office Cluster University of Jammu at Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar concluded here today.
Prof Koshal Samotra, Principal Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion and ZA Hashmi, Control Examination, Cluster University of Jammu was the guest of Honor.
Dr Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator, Cluster University of Jammu presented the welcome address and presented a report on the achievement of the Cluster University in sports.
Prof Koshal Samotra, Principal Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar Jammu motivated the students and wished the players.
In men section final, Government MAM College defeated Government SPMR College of Commerce Jammu, whereas in women section final, Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar Jammu defeated Government SPMR College of Commerce Jammu.
The tournament was held under the supervision of Dr Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator, Cluster University of Jammu.
Among others present were Prof Sunil Uppal, Prof Subash Sharma, Prof Nalini Pangotra, Prof Sarpreet Kour, Sumnesh Sharma, Physical Director, MAM College, Mahesh Sharma, Physical Director, GGM Science College and Neelam Chalotra, Assistant Physical Director, Government MAM College Jammu.
The matches were officiated by Dhiraj Sharma, Jagdev Singh, Shivani Bhau and Sunil Sharma.
