Inner Voice

A FATHER

Spare a thought
With a zeal to fought
I started everyday
To make something out of hay
To earn my livelihood
To give them better childhood
No matter, how much tired I am
Crosses all the dams
Defeated all the zero
To be and remain as her hero
Sparing a thought of rest
To take the fight again
And to give my best
To make her smile
For all her life
No matter, how many miles
Makes me walk on edge of the knife
To make all this happen
I will challenge the life harder
To prove the face to the world
Its difficult to be a father

BETTER WORLD

This world will get better
When we make an effort
Starting with our own self
And the rest will definitely avert
One should see one’s own faults
One should introspect
one’s own deed
Only by curbing all negativity
Positivity will be going to breed
One should be slow in judging others
But quick to judge oneself
It will definitely go a long way
In improving one’s innerself
World is not short of preachers
It is not lacking of eminent teachers
What the world needs now
Is a bunch of peace makers
Peace is the need of the hour
Peace is the sole necessity
Live and let live,
should be the sole motto
Only then every country,
will survive its adversity
Let peace prevail everywhere
And there should be no war
Let mankind retain their values
So that the humanity may restore

Until You Came

I knew there’s day, but not that it’s Bright
I knew the dark night,
but not the moonlight
‘Alive I was,but was there life?’
I knew about clover, but not the spell
I knew about flower, but not the smell
‘Alive I was, but was there life?’
I knew about fruit, but not the taste
I knew Life’s race, but had no haste
‘Alive I was, but was there life?’
I didn’t know the stars, but the Sky
I knew about birds, but they fly!
‘Alive I was, but was there life?’
I knew my Limbs, but not the wings
I knew about Shahzad, but not the Prince
‘Alive I was, but was there life?’
