This is to draw the attention of the Public Service Commission and the concerned authorities that the candidates belonging to Jammu division have been discriminated in selection as College Assistant professors and 10+2 lecturers in School Education Department. Jammu candidates have been given just 15-20 percent share in open Merit General Category that too in combination with Jammu based Reserve Categories. It seems that the Selection Committee has ignored the academic merit criteria, and considered only interview criteria in which valley students have got most marks.
It is requested to the Public Service Commission authorities to publish Merit list of students with marks secured in interview. NET, SET should also be specified. This is to establish how much injustice has been done with Jammu Division.
