Inhabitants of tehsil Wakura call on DDC Ganderbal

SRINAGAR, Apr 11: A delegation of inhabitants of tehsil Wakura led by Mir Ghulam Rasool Butwani chairman  a vetran trade unionist and chief of JK Peopels Revolutionary Forum met District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Pouyush Sungla and submitted a charter of demands to him.
The delegation discussed all the demands threadbare with DDC and he assured early redressal of the same.
The delegation demanded additional accommodation for PHC Wakura, improvement in water supply in Wakura villages which are facing water scarcity for a long time,  hot line power supply to all Government institution in Wakura especially Hospital, allotment of fair price Medical shop under PM Jan Aushahdhi Scheme in Wakoora, posting of lady doctor at Wakoora Hospital who has been recently transferred to Budgam and replaced by a male doctor, besides a Ophthalmic technician be also posted in hospital, Dentals Surgeon be deputed at Batwani PHC, reducing the electric charges of poor and down trodden people in Wakura, construction of Receiving Stations at Dub Wakoora and Batwani as sanctioned already, posting of Animal Husbandry doctor in Wakura and improvement in transport facilities in the area.
The other members of the delegation included Molvi Mohamed Yousf Bhat, Haji Sonaullah Ganai and Irfan Mohi-ud-Din.
