Inevitable vulnerability

Sir,
Kindly refer to the article titled ” Teen age: inevitable vulnerability” DE Feb 12, 2017. The learned author has  described the advent of adolescence in an individual life in a poetical and physiological for which she deserves Kudos. These various stages occur in every individual’s life. Each stage of life contributes in personality development of the individual. As nuclear family has taken place against a joint family system, there has occurred a market change with regard to development of the child. So far as love, patience, independence are concerned these are missing in nuclear families. The unexpected speed in technology change is also  contributing in the development of children.
But we can’t under estimate this stage of development i.e adolescence or teenage especially in case of a girl child who undergoes physical change in many respects. The upbringing of child especially in earlier stage has a great impact on the child, but more on girl child. It is the bounden duty of parents to have a friendly relation with wards and give them a wide room to shape their careers rather than scope having highest expectation of them and not comparing them  with others which generally demoralizes them. In case of girl child a mother’s responsibility is of paramount importance. If  there is active participation of mother at this stage of girl child, there is no apprehension of her being go astray.
Yours etc…
