JAMMU, Apr 15: Indigo Airlines today began a direct flight between Kolkata and Jammu and Kashmir.
The first flight landed here today with 133 inbound passengers on board and took off with 145 passengers for Srinagar. The flight will be operating on daily basis, a spokesman of Indigo Airlines said.
He informed that the flight will daily depart from Kolkata at 0530 hours, arrive Jammu at 0845 hours and then depart from Jammu for Srinagar at 0915 hours. “In the coming days, various other destinations like Amritsar and Dehradoon shall be connected directly with Jammu”, he added.
