Indian girls beat Finland in World Junior Squash

New Delhi, July 31:
India started off on a fluent note in the girls’ team event of the World Junior Squash Championship, beating Finland 3-0 on the opening day in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
India is seeded seventh and is in pool B along with USA (seeded 2), Australia (10) and Finland (13/16).
For India, Akanksha Salunkhe, Harshit Jawanda and Adya Advani played in that order and each of them made little fuss and completed quick wins.
It is the eighth time that India is competing in the Championship. India’s best show was finishing third in 2009.
India next plays Australia.
