India needs ‘four-coloured’ revolution for growth: Modi

TORONTO: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today called for a ‘four-coloured’ revolution — Green (agriculture), White (dairy farming), Saffron (energy) and Blue (tapping marine resources) — for the all-round development of India Addressing the Indian community here, Mr Modi said,”The Indian flag has four colours– saffron, white , gree and blue and i want to bring four revolutions to the country.”
”Saffron is a colour of energy, and we must have an energy revolution in India. Our country used to always speak of megawatts but today we are talking about gigawatts,” the Prime Minister said. (AGENCIES)
