JAMMU, Feb 22: BJP State spokesperson Prof. Virender Gupta supported the warning of Army Chief that those displaying flags of ISIS and Pakistan; trying to break the security cordon to help militants escape and providing shelter to the terrorists be treated as anti-nationals and the security forces should take harsh measures and  target them if need be.
He said that harsh measures are need of the time and those criticizing the Army Chief’s statement not realizing the gravity of the situation and are encouraging the separatists and do not want to bring back the normalcy in the Valley.
He said that those criticizing the Indian security personnel even though they are observing great restrain in dealing with violent crowd, need to look at the neighbouring country, which has killed more than 100 terrorists in one go while carrying anti-terror operations in Afghanistan. The Pakistan Prime Minister has authorized the army to take out terrorists wherever they might be and even those providing shelter to them.
Prof. Virender Gupta said that if Pakistan can cross the border and hit the terrorists in Afghanistan then India too has the right to launch anti-terror operations and destroy the terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied part of Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan is not only allowing its soil to be used by terrorists but its forces are also helping and training them to target India and Pakistan. Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad, Taliban etc. are being supported and patronized by Pakistan.
Prof. Virender Gupta said that it is time for India to tell the Pakistan that it will not further tolerate any such anti-India acts and holds the right to enter Pakistan area to target the terrorists.
