Inclusive development imperative for real prosperity: Lal Singh

BASOHLI, Mar 2: Minister for Forest, Environment and Ecology, Choudhary Lal Singh today said that inclusive development on all fronts is imperative for overhauling vital institutions across Jammu and Kashmir.
“Government is committed to bring all round development in all the regions of the State without any disparity,” Singh told a gathering of people in Basohli constituency.
“People who have voted this Government to the power have every right to hold us accountable for all our works and functioning,” he said and added that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has made it mandatory for every Minister to have a detailed touring of the State and seek regular feedback from the people on the ground.
The Minister conducted extensive tour of his constituency and inaugurated various development works and laid foundation of several public amenities. To improve the connectivity in the area, work on roads from Dhar Mahanpur to Adhat, Kholi Talai to -Jagna and Suchara to Palara was started today.
Similarly, construction work of 14 additional classrooms was started at Government Higher Secondary School Dhar Mahanpur at an estimated cost of Rs 87.60 lakh and foundation for PHC at Plassi was also laid which would come up at an estimated cost of Rs 2 crore.
DC Kathua Ramesh Kumar, CEO Balbir Singh and other district officers were present on the occasion.
