Implement 7th Pay Commission

Sir,
It is a matter of grave concern that the State Government has deferred the implementation of 7th Pay Commission recommendations till April 2018. While some States have gone ahead with implementation of 7th Pay Commission recommendations from this year, J&K Government has decided to take one more year for its implementation. Its implementation during this year could have benefitted the State Government employees and pensioners.  Now when employees and pensioners have to wait one more year, employees and pensioners hope that the Government after taking into account the rising prices and medical expenses will  pay interim relief to employees and pensioners preferably @ 30 percent. Government should also bring all the pensioners under health insurance policy and enhance medical allowance to Rs 3000 per month in favour of employees and pensioners. Moreover, Chief Minister  Mehbooba Mufti  and Finance Minister Dr Haseeb Drabu are requested to release the Dearness Allowance in favour of State Government Pensioners and Employees which is pending from July 2017 and the arrears thereof be paid to pensioners before the festival of Deepawali.
