JAMMU, Feb 6: Wife of Ali Mohammad Watali, former DIG and mother of IGP Shafkat Ahmed Watali has passed away.
The demise of Mrs Watali was mourned by Governor N N Vohra, who has conveyed his sympathies to the members of the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Director General of Police (DGP), K Rajendra Kumar convened a meeting at Police Headquarters (PHQ) here today to mourn the demise of Mrs Watali. The meeting was attended by senior police officers including the officers at PHQ.
