JAMMU, June 3: The daughter of a senior IFS officer of  J&K cadre, has also qualified the Civil Services examination, result of which was declared recently.
Vasumana Pant, daughter of IFS officer Manoj Pant, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests ( recently returned from deputation outside the State), has secured 35th rank. She is presently undergoing training at Income Tax Academy, Nagpur.
Pant, a product of Presentation Convent School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu,  is ranked 35 over all and 6th in the country among women candidates in Civil Services exam this year. She actively participated in Table Tennis championships at Jammu  and won Sub Junior and Junior State championships. She also represented J&K in National School Games and National championships.
Prachi Raina, daughter of Yograj Raina and grand daughter of Prof M L Raina, originally from 45-Karan Nagar, Srinagar has also cleared IAS examination. She ranked 290. She  was undergoing training in Indian Forest Services (IFS) Institute at Dehradun. Recently married to Abhilash Mishra of  Lucknow, her husband also cracked IAS recently and ranked 5th. Prachi is B.Tech and MBA.
