ICDS storekeeper arrested with 2 quintal of rice

DODA, Apr 8: A storekeeper of ICDS (Social Welfare Department) was arrested today with two quintal of rice, which he was going to sell illegally.
On specific information, Incharge, police post Bhagwah, ASI Lekh Raj under the supervision of SHO Doda, Inspector Bishnesh Kumar and Deputy SP, DAR, Nazir Ahmed Ganai, laid a surprise naka and arrested one storekeeper of ICDS namely Ghulam Qadir son of Rustum Khanji, resident of Bhagwah with two quintals of rice, which he was going to sale illegally.
In this connection, a case FIR 69/2017 under section 409 RPC has been registered at police station Doda and further investigation is going on.
