ICDS Project observes deworming day

JAMMU, Aug 10: ICDS Project Migrant in association with Health Department observed deworming day, today.
To observe the day, children of age 1-6 years were administered deworming medicine in all the Migrant Anganwari centres functioning in district Jammu.
A mega camp in this connection was also organized at community hall, Jagti, where all 33 Migrant Angan-wari centres functioning in Jagti jointly observed the deworming day and concerned ASHA workers administered Albendazole/ dew-orming tablets to the children.
Further, CDPO Migrant made people in general and mothers of the children in particular, aware about the benefits of all ICDS schemes.
