SAMBA, Apr 23: Defeating MV International Vijaypur in the summit clashes, Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahamana and Army Public School (APS), BD Bari lifted the Under-14 and Under-17 boys Basketball titles respectively in the District Level Inter-School Basketball Tournament, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at Humanity Public School ground, here today.
In Under-14 final, HPS defeated MVI Vijaypur by (38-14), while in Under-17 final, APS BD Bari thrashed MVI Vijaypur by (38-6).
Principal Humanity Public School was the chief guest on the valedictory function, who interacted with the players on the occasion.
The tournament is being held under the overall supervision of Sunil Kumar, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Samba.
The matches were officiated by Dalbir Singh, Dhanraj Singh, Daljeet Singh, Bupinder Singh and Chander Prakash.
