HPS gives financial help to cancer patient

JAMMU, Sept 27: Hari Prabhu Sanstha (HPS) donated a sum of Rs 10,000 for treatment of Akhil Sharma, a 9-year-old boy, who is suffering from brain tumour and is getting treatment for the same at GB Pant Hospital, Delhi.
The patient is a class 4th student and belongs to a BPL family from tehsil Ramnagar, which cannot afford his costly treatment. He has been under treatment at GMC Jammu, SSH Jammu and PGI Chandigarh. The doctors have recommended immediate surgery for the removal of the tumour so that his life can be saved.
The appeal for the financial help was received by HPS through Bharat Vikas Parishad, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu and Cooperative school, Marble Market, Jammu, where Akhil is studying and his mother working as a peon.
