UDHAMPUR, Mar 21: In an apparent suicide case, a young housewife was found hanging from a tree in forest area at Karlha, Chenani today.
The deceased was identified as Kaushalya Devi (42), wife of Shankar Lal of village Karlha near Patnitop, Kud. She was found hanging from a tree in forest area under mysterious circumstances. Locals spotted her hanging and immediately called the Police, which rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to Sub District Hospital Chenani for postmortem.
Kud Police has also registered the case under 174 CrPC for further investigation.
