JAMMU, Mar 30: To prepare fully integrated plans for development of Katra town, the State Government has accorded sanction for constitution of High Level Coordination Committee (HLCC).
Headed by Administrative Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department, the committee shall prepare fully integrated plans for development of Katra town and its surroundings, ensure functioning of all the agencies in a coordinated manner and implement all the schemes relating to Katra town, including the Swachh Iconic Places Scheme, launched by the Government of India.
CEO of Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Administrative Secretary Tourism Department, Deputy Commissioner Reasi and Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu, will be members of the High Level Coordination Committee, which shall be served by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
