Hiranagar police nabs murder accused within 24 hours

KATHUA, Feb 10: Hiranagar Police has settled a murder case of a middle aged woman within 24 hours by arresting the accused.
Acting swiftly the Hiranagar Police started investigation in the murder case after registering a case under Section 302, police said. It said a police party led by SHO P S Hiranagar, Inspector Amit Kumar under the command of SDPO Chadwal Border, Revail Singh and under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Pawan Parihar the murder case was solved within 24 hours as the police succeeded in arresting accused Sansar Singh, son of Anant Singh of Murli Chak, Hiranagar from his hideout. He has been put on sustained interrogation by the police.
It may be recalled that a woman Raj Kumari, 45,wife of Late Girdhari Lal resident of Jangi Chak was murdered in village Kunthal. She was found in seriously injured and unconscious state with head injury in the bushes in the village by people yesterday who informed the police.
The police first rushed her to Hiranagar SD Hospital where from doctors referred her to GMC Hospital Jammu. After reaching, GMC doctors declared her as brought dead. However police acted swiftly to nab the accused and it is investigating the motive behind the heinous crime.
