KATHUA, Mar 24: In continuation to staunch drive launched by the District Police Kathua to nab the drug peddlers, P/S Hiranagar has succeeded in nabbing two drug peddler along with Poppy straw.
A Police party headed by SHO P/S Hiranagar acting on a specific information laid down a naka near Hiranagar Morh and intercepted two persons namely Ashwani Kumar S/o Bishan Dass R/o Mela and Sanjum Kumar S/o Daya Nand W.No. 10 Hiranagar. During their personal search, 400 gms and 350 grams poppy straw was recovered from their possession.
Both the accused person have been taken into custody and a case FIR No. 35/2017 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act stands registered at P/S Hiranagar. The drive has been carried out under the supervision of Ravail Singh Choudhary, SDPO Border and overall supervision of Pawan Parihar, SSP Kathua.
