Jammu, Oct 29: A Hindi play ‘Hatya Ek Aakar Ki’ was presented by renowned theater director Mohd Akram Khan at auditorium of Govt. Women College Parade here today.
R. S. Chib former Minister was the chief guest on the occasion while Arvinder Singh Amn Addl. Secretary J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages was the guest of honour and Dr. Hemla Aggarwal, Principal Govt. Women College Parade was presided over the function.
The play was written by Lalit Sehgal  and  directed by M. Akram Khan, and was Sponsored by Ministry of Culture ( Govt. of India.) and presented with the co-operation of Govt. Women College Parade Jammu
The play is interwoven with study, thoughts and ideas of the most popular man of the world, that is, our father of the nation. The writer and director also justifies that he was eliminated, but his work and thoughts are still alive. Even after independence the common man in facing with trauma of exploitation at various levels. Today every citizen is facing crisis of confidence.
The play starts at an underground old hall where five ” Krantikaries” are planning on a mission to kill Gandhi. The “Krantikaries” are working for independence and their struggle is based on non-violence & terror. Whereas on the other hand a cool and calm man is also working for independence but his struggle is based on unity and without harming the human values and rights. Krantikaries ultimately decided to eliminate Mr Gandhi . When they move for the mission one of their colleagues revolt in favour of that cool man than they frame a court of result. Their colleague accepts the representation of that cool man. All the character tries to tie him in the charges but finds themselves fall after the replies of that simple man which are based on truth, non violence and unity. He justifies that only man can be eliminated but his work, path and thoughts are fruitful for the next generation.
Those who preformed in the play included Aditya Bhanu as Pehla Vyakti (Sarkari Vakeel) , Manoj Bhat as Dusra Vyakti (Sarkari Gawah), Ashok Pandita as  Adhaid Vyakti  (judge) ,Vijay Goswami as Shankit Yuvak (Abiyukt/Vakeel Safai) Akshay Kotwal, Aamir Khan as Vyakti Chaar (Gawah). The show was coordinated by Shadab Khan.
