REASI, Sept 1: ‘Hindi Pakhwara’ at Salal Power Station was inaugurated today by A G Ansari, General Manager, Salal Power Station, in the presence of Sri Prakash, Chief Engineer (Civil), Rajeev Jerath, Chief Engineer (Civil) and a large number of Officers and employees of NHPC.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ansari stressed the need to do day to day routine office work in Rashtrabhasha Hindi. He further said that when all of us are so comfortable communicating with one another in Hindi, then why to hesitate in doing office work and correspond in Hindi. He advised all employees to break the taboo and emphasized that not only during ‘Hindi Pakhwara’ but all the time, maximum office work should be done in Hindi as a matter of habit.
Earlier, J K Sharma, Manager (HR) requested the employees to participate in various competitions to be organised during ‘Hindi Pakhwara’, which shall conclude on ‘Hindi Divas’ on September 14.
During the Pakhwara, as many as 32 competitions are being organised for the employees/school children/ CISF personnel and house wives.
