High tech coaching centre ‘Falcons’ opened at Miran Sahib

JAMMU, Mar 31: ‘Falcons’, a high tech coaching institute especially for students preparing for engineering and medical entrance tests, was opened here at Miran Sahib.
Member Legislative Assembly, RS Pura, Gagan Bhagat, inaugurated the institute in the presence of a large gathering including Director Falcons, Dr Mudasir Sultana. The institute is being run by experts possessing rich experience in the concerned fields for more than last two decades.
While speaking on the occasion, the MLA said, “Such a center was extremely needed for the students of the area, who were deprived of proper guidance and opportunities to strengthen themselves in various fields. It will provide the local children with much-needed academic help at their doorsteps as they wouldn’t need to travel long distances to Jammu city anymore.” He assured all possible support to the management in running this institute.
In her address, the Director of the Institute said, “The purpose of opening this institute is to serve the students of this border-belt area, especially girl students for whom it was very difficult to travel long distances to avail such opportunities.”
It is pertinent to mention here that the Director Falcons served as the Head of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at SKUAST-J for over 10 years and she has over 100 international publications in various research related fields, besides authoring four internationally acclaimed books.
