Hero Club scripts tie-breaker win, Jammu United wins by solitary goal

JAMMU, Feb 18: Hero Club defeated Sainik Colony Football Club by four goals to three (4-3) via tie-breaker, while Jammu United registered a solitary goal victory over NGR Football Club in the ongoing 1st Hari Singh Memorial Gold Cup Football Tournament, being held under the auspices of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
In the first match, both Hero Club and Sainik Colony FC failed to score any goal in the stipulated time and the decision of the match was left to tie-breaker, wherein Hero Club emerged victorious by (4-3).
The goal scorers from Hero Club were Deepak, Divum Gupta, Vijay Kumar and Anmol, while Virender, Gagandeep and Robin scored goals from Sainik Clony FC.
In another match, Jammu United defeated NGR by one goal to nil (1-0). Munish scored the goal in 8th minute.
The matches were officiated by Suresh Gupta, Rockey Kumar, Damania, Romesh Kumar, Rahul Sharma and Mohinder Kalsi (Physio).
Mozamil Mehmood was the chief guest on the occasion.
