Health centres to be established by Sept 15 in identified areas: Taj

SRINAGAR, Aug 28: Minister for Health & Medical Education, Taj Mohi-ud-Din today informed the House that Government will ensure establishment of newly sanctioned health centres under NRHM in different identified areas before September 15, 2014.
Regarding compensation on account of damages of horticulture and other crops due to hail storm and rain, the Minister informed that a detailed survey by the concerned authorities is underway and after getting details the Government will take appropriate decision on the issue.
Regarding the regularization of teachers engaged under Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyaalya programme, Mr. Taj said the issue is under the active consideration of the Government like other daily rated workers engaged in different departments.
The Minister was intervening on the points raised by Balwant Singh Mankotia, Abdul Razzak Zawoora, Ashok Kumar and Abdul Haq Khan during the Zero Hour in the House today.
Abdul Rehman Veeri demanded free power share to the State from NHPC power projects at par with Himachal Pradesh State. Ashwani Kumar Sharma expressed concern over the border firing and called for concrete steps to stop the ceasefire violations by Pakistan. He also sought addressing the issue of west Pakistani/PoK refugees at the earliest.
Ajaz Jan demanded expeditious completion of on-going developmental works and posting of adequate medical staff in Poonch.
Radhey Sham Sharma demanded early declaration of result of Class-IV posts in Education Department in Nowshera for which interviews were conducted in 2006.
