JAMMU, May 30: The State High Court today stayed the Government order regarding ban on the import of cement from Minor Toll Posts, till further order.
The stay order was issued in a petition filed by various cement dealers challenging the Government order imposing a ban on the import of cement from Minor Toll Posts falling under the Jurisdiction of Dy Excise Commissioner. Toll Post, Lakhanpur.
Justice MK Hanjura of J&K High Court, Jammu Wing, after hearing Advocate Pranav Kohli for the petitioners, issued notice to the respondents and ordered that subject to objections from other side, the impugned order bearing No 84 of 2018, dated 19.05.2018 shall stay.
