JAMMU, Dec 31: High Court has modified the stay order in Assistant Professors selection case and paved the way for selected candidates to join and work at their respective places of posting.
In the earlier order passed in a petition filed by one Barun Kumar Bhatti, the High Court had kept in abeyance the entire selection list of the Assistant Professors in Computer Application steam.
The order was passed by Justice Mohd Yaqoob Mir after hearing Advocate A K Sawhney assisted by Advocates Utkarsh Pathania and Shiv Dev Thakur, appearing for the selected and appointed candidates who were unable to join due to the abeyance order of the court.
After hearing counsels for the parties and perusing the applications, the High Court modified the order dated 9.12.2016. Government Advocate Chandan Sharma appeared for Higher Education Department, Advocate F A Natnoo for PSC, Advocate Seema Sharma for one of the appointed candidate and Advocate Rahul Sharma.
