Srinagar, Sept 13: High Court today granted three weeks time to Government for filing its response to PIL seeking report of Commission on 2010 killings be made public.
The Public Interest Litigation has been filed by NGO (Peoples Forum) through its Secretary M M Shuja seeking a direction for making public the report of “Koul Commission” of retired Justice M L Koul and its follow up action.
The Division Bench of Chief Justice Badar Durrez Ahmad and Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey directed the state counsel B A Dar (AAG) to file the same within three weeks.
Advocate Dar sought four weeks time but the court directed him to file the response within a period of three weeks as time for the same has already been given on previous hearing.
