Srinagar, Feb 18: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court today directed the Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) to provide admission in MBBS to the meritorious candidates in place of those whose admissions were cancelled.
A Division Bench of the court comprising Justice Hasnain Masoodi and Justice A M Margay today observed: “…against the vacant posts, deserving candidates, who have burnt mid night oil for their dream to become true, should be absorbed”. The court also appreciated the CB for the investigations.
The Crime Branch in its status report said that charge sheet against 9 students will be filed soon in the court of special judge anti-corruption and informed the court that four persons including two female candidates are evading arrest.
