Harmonious India

Much hue and cry was raised by the opposition and their associates in the Parliament on what they trumpeted as “intolerance of the Government”. The bogey of intolerance was given enormous media hype. The opposition had a grouse that the Prime Minister was not speaking on the subject. They drew the inference that the Prime Minister was taking the miscreants under his wings.
However, in response to a debate that was opened by the chairman of the Congress also an MP, on the subject of intolerance, the Government made its position clear. Additionally, in his monthly Man ki Bat radio talk, the Prime Minister unveiled the scheme of Ek Bharat, Shresht Bharat meaning one India and harmonious India. He told countrymen to think over the scheme and come forward with their ideas how we would strengthen the slogan. The Prime Minister said that he dreamt of India full of life and vitality and interconnected through a prestigious scheme. We would very much like the opposition to come forward with its valuable suggestions on how that goal can be achieved which will make India one united nation irrespective of a multitude of identities. The opposition, which has been raising the bogey of intolerance, must spell out how it wants the Central Government to think and act so that India is welded into one unit.
