Hakla’s concern over damaged roads in Poonch

JAMMU, July 10: Shamsher Hakla Poonchi a prominent Gujjar leader and intellectual has expressed grave concern over the deteriorating condition of roads and drainage system in Poonch City.
In a statement here, today he said that the link road from Air Field to Mohalla Allahpir Poonch city which links Ward No 12, 13 and Power House Mohalla of Poonch City is in shambles after the road has been dug by a cable company.
He said the drainage system on the road which was constructed few years back by PWD has been damaged by laying the cable system and this will chock the entire drainage system in the area.
Hakla said that he approached every officer R&B Department urging them that the drainage system will be damaged by digging the road and it will create a public nuisance in the area.
Hakla has sought immediate intervention of R&B Minister , Naeem Akhtar in the matter sought his immediate intervention in the matter and urged him to keep his word of maintaining the work culture in the Department.
