JAMMU, Dec 4: First ever conference on Endoscopy named ‘Gynae Endocon’ concluded today in SMGS hospital, which was organized by Post Graduate Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in association with Jammu Obstetrics and Gynecological Society.
The idea was conceptualized by Dr Ajay Wakhloo, organizing secretary and was supported by Prof Indu Kaul, HoD Department of Gynecology and Prof Sudhaa Sharma, president JOGS.
The conference was organized to enhance the skills of the Gynecologists working in the State so that the benefits are passed on to the patients.
During the conference, an operative workshop was held in which experienced surgeons Dr Prashant and Dr Ramesh demonstrated surgeries on patients with gynecological tumours/cancers.
Scientifics sessions and panel discussion were also held.
