SRINAGAR: Governor N N Vohra and Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh today discussed the arrangements made for the Amarnath yatra, commencing from June 29.
An official spokesperson here today said that Dr Singh met the Governor at the Raj Bhavan. ”The Governor and Dr Singh discussed the preparedness of the various concerned state government departments for the forthcoming Amarnath Yatra,” he said.
Meanwhile, Dr Singh also briefed the Governor about the various initiatives taken by the State Government to speed up the growth and development process in the State, particularly in Power, Housing and Urban Development sectors. (AGENCIES)
