‘Gurmat Samagam’ organised  at Domana Gurudwara

JAMMU, Feb 19: As part of 350th Parkash Purab of `Sahib-e-Kamaal’ Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and in the loving memory of Sant Gurbaksh Singh ji Danna, a grand `Gurmat Samagam’ was organised by Sant Pura Danna Charitable Trust at Gurudwara Sri Guru Arjun Dev Ji, Akhnoor road Domana, under the patronage of Sant Tejwant Singh ji, the Dera head today.
The programme was organised with the active cooperation of S. Joginder Singh Bali (Hong Kong Waley) and S. Baldev Singh, CEO Peaks Auto Ltd, TS Wazir, Chairman SGPB and Surinder Kour advocate.
Gurudwara was highly decorated by the Management Committee and a large number of peoples from different parts of the State attended the Samagam and offered prayers.
Renowned Ragi Bhai Nirmal Singh ji (Padam Shree), Hazuri Ragi Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar and Bhai Kawarpal Singh, Dehradun Waley, while reciting Shabad Kirtan said that teachings and principles of the great tenth Guru are more relevant today and can be helpful in bringing peace in the whole world.
Giani Ranjit Singh, Head Granthi Sri Bangla Sahjib appealed to the people to follow the path shown by this great Guru for the world peace and serve the humanity.
An announcement was also made on the occasion for the opening of smart school on CBSC Patten in the current session.
Dr Jaspal Singh, former Ambassador and Vice Chancellor Punjabi University Patiala said that Sant Gurbaksh Singh Danna was a revolutionary soul and spiritually upright personality. He was a great warrior and played memorable role to save thousands of lives during partion of the country. He also threw light on the life and achievements of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Dr Jaspal Singh concluded that the preaching of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the message of Guru Granth Sahib can save today’s world for establishing peace and humanism.
Free medical camp was also organised by renowned Cardiologist Sunil Sharma. Besides, free Sugar test, ECG, various medicines were also provided free of cost to the people there.
Local Ragi Jathas of Bhai Sahib Bhai Kulvinder Singh and Bhai Amarveer Singh also recited Kirtan Shabad on the occasion.
Former minister Ajay Sadh-otra, Sukhnandan Choudhary- MLA, Charanjit Singh- MLC, TS Wazir Ex- MLC and Advocate Surinder Singh also addressed the gathering.
