NEW DELHI, Jan 7: Gur prices remained flat at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today in view of little business movements.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also settled without any changes in the absence of any worthwhile moving activities.
Marketmen said thin trading activities and comfortable stocks position mainly held gur commodities at overnight levels.
Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,100-3,200, pedi Rs 3,200-3,300, dhayya Rs 3,500-3,600 and shakkar Rs 3,600-3,700.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,600-2,650, chakku Rs 2,900-3,100, khurpa Rs 2,900-2,950 and Ladoo Rs 3,100-3,150.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,850-3,000 and dhayya Rs 3,000-3,050. (PTI)
